Haftarah Class - via Zoom
HAFTARAH FOR SHABBAT SHUVAH-HOSEA 14: 2-10; JOEL 2:15 -27; MICAH 7:18-20. ETZ HAYIM  p.1234.

The class is held on the second Wednesday of the month at 8:00 pm via Zoom. The class involves detailed discussion and textual analysis of a specific Haftarah.  No knowledge of Hebrew or Jewish texts is required. The class invites free and open discussion and argumentation. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background or level of knowledge, and you need not have attended any class in the past.

What is the interrelationship of the various segments of Shabbat Shuvah Haftarah? How is that Haftarah  a compendium of High Holiday themes and experiences? How is  this Haftarah especially relevant to repentance? Where in the High Holiday liturgy do we see the Micah segment?
