Adult Ed Programs

Our Three Goals:

1. Advancing knowledge and appreciation of Jewish heritage and culture
2. Offering learning opportunities to SJC members and the Community as a whole
3. Bringing together a range of people with common interests in non-judgmental discussions in open forums

Specifically, The Adult Education Committee offers the following programs, each with a link for greater information (most events are held on Thursdays):

• The annual Alfred Gross Memorial Weekend
• Book Group
• Sponsoring the yearly Jewish Film Festival
• Hebrew Studies
• Haftarah discussions
• Discussions of topical interest in Israel and the rest of the Middle East
• Adult Bible Stories
• Rabbi's Seminar for Seaside Members (different topics each year)
• Special presentations on specific subjects
• Calendar of events
