Part of the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries series which are set in 1920’s Australia with Phryne Fisher as the “detective” on the case. For those of you who prefer to see it on video, it is available on Prime.

While a quick, entertaining mystery, it gives insight into Melbourne’s early twentieth-century Jewish community and how the author, a non-Jew, describes Jewish holidays, customs, and history to her audience.
