Join Rabbi Julie and members of Seaside Jewish Community to learn about and experience Tisha B'Av that starts 9 PM on August 6.
Tisha B'Av is a somber fast day commemorating the destruction of the ancient Temples in Jerusalem and the exile of the Jewish people from our ancestral land.
Rabbi Julie Danan will lead an interactive program that teaches the history while highlighting new, contemporary meanings that social and environmental activists find in this ancient observance.
The program will include Seaside members chanting portions from the book of Lamentations.

September 28th 10-12 Seaside Jewish Community will join Repair the Sea®, and Jewish communities around the world in the 8th Annual Reverse Tashlich, a global waterfront cleanup. We will meet at the Fishing Pier - State Henlopen Park from 10-12 for a short Tashlach service by Rabbi Danan followed by a beach cleanup.
