Rabbi Julie Danan will lead a Second Day of Rosh Hashanah Program –
Taste of New Year: Learn, Sing, Eat

• Learn with Rabbi Julie about the power of symbols to set the tone for a New Year
• Sing some of our High Holiday favorites together
• Taste symbolic foods of the holidays from Ashkenazic and Sephardic tradition, along with the appropriate blessings. Sephardic Jews have a “Seder” of symbolic Rosh Hashanah foods, known as the Simanim, and Ashkenazic Jews also have specialholiday delicacies.
   

The food is being organized by Susan Aaronson (susanaaron@aol.com) and Debra Stern. Please contact them if you have a special dish that you would like to share.

Registration is required to attend in person. Please register by September 27.
