Notable Jewish Lives -- Leonard Bernstein

Peter Zoll will tell us the life of Leonard Bernstein, based on Leonard Bernstein: An American Musician by Allen Shawn.  Best known for West Side Story, Bernstein was a composer, conductor, pianist, educator, author, and humanitarian.  He was the first conductor to share and explore music on television with a mass audience. Many of us can recall seeing him on television as well as the impression that his music made on us.
