This year’s festival, underwritten by Delaware’s Jewish Federation, presents a sumptuous feast of history, documentary, feature, intense drama, and delightful comedy. Many films will include talks, presentations, and question and answer opportunities. All films will screen at the theater.

Wednesday, June 1 at 7 p.m. – Plan A. In 1945, a group of Jewish holocaust survivors planned a dangerous and bold secret operation called Plan A. This true story will have you on the edge of your seat.

Thursday, June 2 at 4:30 p.m. – Tiger Within. The story of an unlikely friendship between a homeless teen and a Holocaust survivor, sparking larger questions of fear, forgiveness, healing, and world peace, starring multiple Emmy Award-winning actor Ed Asner.

Thursday, June 2 at 7 p.m. – The Levys of Monticello. A documentary film that tells the little-known story of the Levy family, which owned and carefully preserved Monticello for nearly a century. The remarkable story of the Levy family also intersects with the rise of antisemitism that runs throughout the course of American history.

Friday, June 3 at 1 p.m. – Latter Day Jew. A gay Mormon comedian converted to Judaism, beat cancer, and planned his Bar Mitzvah. Hilarious and touching.
