All events start at 4 pm unless otherwise noted and are held on Zoom. The link for the sign-in will appear in the Seaside e-Blast prior to the event. While we will try to keep to the schedule here, dates and times may change so it is important to check the eBlast or Calendar for the most current information.

  • April 13 -- Mahjong: A Chinese Game and the Making of Modern American Culture by Annelise Heinz*** (author event in conjunction with Lewes Public Library and Browseabout Books – starting time at 5 pm – and pre-registration for this free event is required on Library site)
  • April 21 – The Book of Lost Names by Kristin Harmel (novel, 2020)
  • June 16 -- Why Religion?: A Personal Story by Elaine Pagels (nonfiction, 2018)
  • August 18 -- The Third Daughter: A Novel by Talia Carner (novel, 2019)
  • October 20 -- House on Endless Waters: A Novel by Emuna Elon (novel published in Israel, 2016, translated into English 2020)
  • December 15 -- The Netanyahus: An Account of a Minor and Ultimately Even Negligible Episode in the History of a Very Famous Family by Joshua Cohen (novel 2021)

Special Series – Notable Jewish Lives

We have selected 6 “notable” Jews from the list of titles published by Yale University Press in their series Jewish Lives. A presenter will read the book from the Press and add to it other information and online materials.  Attendees are not expected to have read the book for these sessions
