Haftarah Class - POSTPONED TO A FUTURE DATE

HAFTARAH FOR VA-ERA- EZEKIEL 28:25-29 . ETZ HAYIM 369. 

What is the historical setting for this Haftarah ? Who is Ezekiel? How does Ezekiel draw the parallels among and between the present Babylonian Exile, the  past Exodus, and a future Redemption ?

The class is held on the second Wednesday of the month at 8:00 pm via Zoom. The class involves detailed discussion and textual analysis of a specific Haftarah.  No knowledge of Hebrew or Jewish texts is required. The class invites free and open discussion and argumentation. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background or level of knowledge, and you need not have attended any class in the past.
