As an unaffiliated, egalitarian congregation, we have members who are reform, conservative, and other Jewish denominations. We do not discriminate based on race, gender, or sexual orientation. This mix has created a very unique situation at Seaside. Most visitors comment on how wonderful they feel the services are.
Normal Service Schedule is:
September through June - First Friday night of each month at 7:30 pm

High Holy Day Schedule and Break-the-Fast
There is no charge for attending our services, nor are tickets required. We welcome all who want to join us to celebrate these holy days. Most services are held at Epworth United Methodist Church, which is down the street from Seaside. We also hold a community Break-the-Fast meal after Yom Kippur (advance reservations required). In late summer and early fall, go to About Us > Newsletters for details about High Holy Day and Break The Fast schedule (or visit the calendar).
As has been our tradition from our very start in 1997, we have a community Seder during Passover (usually on the second night). Advance ticket reservations are required. For more information, starting in February each year, go to About Us > Newsletters for details (or visit the calendar).
Yahrzeit Wall and Cemetery
Seaside Jewish Community has a yahrzeit wall and cemetery plots available for members. Please check Giving > Yahrzeit for details on Yahrzeit plaques, and About Us > Cemetery Guidelines for more information about the cemetery.
