|Our Mussar course continues at SJC on Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. Mussar is a spiritual discipline within Judaism, a resource our course participants use for elevating our inner lives as we continuously explore and nurture our personal soul traits and virtues. We meet on the second Thursday of each month. Our discussion guide is Everyday Holiness: The Jewish Spiritual Path of Mussar, by Alan Morinis. In February, we'll discuss the trait of Simplicity (Chapter 14) and then tie it to the seven traits we've previously studied: Humility, Patience, Gratitude, Compassion, Order, Equanimity and Honor. If you are interested in learning more about our Taste of Mussar study series, please call our moderator, George Beckerman, at 202-903-5060.
